Continuing Prayers Needed for Baby Stellan!

Most likely I don't have to introduce Stellan to you or his sweet Mommy from My Charming Kids. However, if you don't know MckMama and the story of Stellan, I encourage you to check out her blog and learn more. Little baby Stellan is currently in the hospital due to a heart condition. He is very sick. A blogger has started Stellan's Gallery - a beautiful way to show Stellan and his family that you are praying and thinking of him. You can enter a picture too!Please go to Knowing Norrah to find out how and to view all of the amazing photos already entered. Please keep baby Stellan in your thoughts and prayers.

Please Pray for Stellan!

Stellan

Psalm 23
The LORD is my shepherd,
I shall not be in want.
He makes me lie down in green pastures,
he leads me beside quiet waters,
He restores my soul.
He guides me in paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil,
for you are with me;
your rod and your staff,
they comfort me.
You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies.
You anoint my head with oil;
my cup overflows.
Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life,
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.
Amen!

Missing in Action!

Sorry for not posting - Tara asked me last week - "Mom, how come you haven't put any posts online lately?" It made me realize that there are actually some people reading this - ha, imagine that! Anyways, I was sick AGAIN last week - I had a bad case of "the crud" and was home in bed for the better part of the week. I did manage to get out once a day to have lunch with Tara since she was home on Spring Break. Daryl and Blake (Tucker too) were off to the lake so I had alot of quiet time and it was really good for me to just sleep. I'm now back to work and busy, busy! Today is Tara's doctor appt - she is now 16 weeks and we have had a great time trying to surf the net and see if anyone can predict the sex of her baby. One thing is sure, this little bugger is determined that we won't know anytime soon. All the ultrasounds were not viable for determining the sex. We even had some little ole man in Alabama (Tara calls him Cledus T Judd) track her stats and he says girl - he's been doing this scientific theory for a long time now and when we find out the sex we will email him and let him know if he was right. By the way, his name is Reedus Wheat - not Cledus T Judd! We have also had fun playing around on the website In-Gender.com You can post your Ultrasound pics there and CharlieCat (a seasoned ultrasound technologist with a pretty good success rate) will determine the sex (Tara has nicknamed her PussyCat, KittyCat, etc..) So far all her ultrasounds don't show enough - sigh - maybe we will find out in 4 weeks! I'll update tomorrow on her dr visit.

Sick....ugh

Sorry for no posts the past few days but I've been sick and in bed! The Mutt Strutt was great - we had a great time with Traci and Snickers/Tara with Gracie and Ryleigh. Bridget did great and was exhausted at the end of it all. Oh, and I won a gift certificate to an Italian restaurant in Humble. Tara and I will put that to good use one weekend.
On Sunday Tara and I met my parents and sister/brother-in-law/Baby Aiden for a St Joseph table at St. Theresa Catholic Church. We enjoyed wonderful spaghetti, italian green beans, salad and yummy cookies. Oh and I bought $40 worth of cookies to take home - ha! Next Sunday we are going to another one at Sacred Heart. I just love the Italian Catholic Traditions! Takes me back to my younger days.
Baby Gates is now into week 15! Poor Tara is still suffering from morning/all day sickness! Hopefully she will get some relief soon. Blake is busy with his Jr Rodeo Committee at the Rodeo - he is really enjoying it and has met some neat people.
More updates later.

SPCA Mutt Strut Tomorrow!

Tomorrow Bridget (my beautiful boxer) and I will be participating in the SPCA Mutt Strutt on the tarmac at Bush Airport. We will also be walking with my sister-in-law Traci and her Puppy and Tara (with Baby Gates onboard) with her 2 boxers. My goal was $500 and I am so happy to say that I EXCEEDED my goal! Thanks to everyone that helped me achieve this and I'll be sure to post pics afterwards.
